PARAMETRIC DESIGN · RHINO

From hull
to structure.

Marine mould complexity.
A parametric approach.

Configure marine moulds, steel support frames and production equipment in Rhino. Shape your ideas, explore alternatives and bring clarity to the whole assembly.

01 / THE PLUGIN

One project.
More possibilities.

A mould is part of a bigger picture: its supports, access systems and operating sequences.

NautiMould brings this assembly into your modelling environment. Explore base layouts and reinforcements, then communicate the structure and its details.

01

Configure the frame

Shaped or rectangular bases, profiles and reinforcements to develop the support frame around the mould geometry.

02

Integrate access

Explore external scaffolding, integrated walkways and access stairs as part of the configuration.

03

Communicate the design

Visualise opening sequences and generate structural drawing layouts and assembly details.

02 / TAKE A CLOSER LOOK

From parameters
to geometry.

See the workflow in Rhino:
configuration, opening and drawing layouts.

NAUTIMOULD — PROJECT DEMONSTRATION

Edited demonstration: waiting times have been shortened. Opening sequences illustrate geometric behaviour.

03 / THE WORKFLOW

From geometry
to the bigger picture.

01 /

Start with the hull

Use the mould geometry as the reference around which to develop the configuration.

02 /

Explore alternatives

Define the base, profiles, reinforcements and access systems. See how the assembly changes.

03 /

Make the design clear

Move from the model to views and drawing layouts to share the structure and its details.

FROM MODEL TO DRAWING

Every detail.
Part of the whole.

Clear drawings make the design easier to read and support conversations about geometric choices.

GOOD TO KNOW

The project,
today.

Which platform is it built for?

NautiMould is developed for Rhino. The project demonstrations were made in Rhino 8.

Is it available to purchase?

The plugin is in development. For the current project status, demo opportunities and future distribution plans, contact info@nautimould.com.

Are the simulations certified engineering checks?

The demonstrations show geometric configurations and illustrative sequences. They do not replace structural verification, safety assessments or approved lifting plans.
